Round 1: Collins lands a long jab. Phil grabs a guillotine and jumps guard. It takes quite a while, but finally Collins pulls out, picks him up, and slams him hard. Phil goes to top of guard, but Collins is controlling this round! Phil is bleeding from the face as the round ends.

Round 2: Collins lands two good punches to really open up the cut on Lemire, who is now bleeding badly. Phil drives Collin to the cage right in front of us, and we are blessed with a dousing of Phil Lemire’s DNA all over our paperwork…Collins sweeps to top position, stands, and lands some crisp strikes…Collins lifts Phil and slams him again and then goes for the rear naked choke to earn the tap.

Collins wins this gritty, bloody fight with good boxing, a good ground game, and a lot of heart!!!

They clinch, and Fran scores a takedown. They scramble back to their feet and Fran lands a HUGE uppercut and drops Rich. The fight is stopped shortly after.

The big wins by Fran and Jason Barrett set up an intriguing match-up of big strikers for the next event. Hopefully they are able to put that fight together.
